Message from The President: Q3 2023

Pressing News,
Celebrating Our Journeys to Success

Dwight Eisenhower once said: “Accomplishments will prove to be a journey, not a destination.”

I was fortunate to be able to congratulate dozens of PIAG members on their successful journeys in innovation and creativity at the imPRESS Celebration of Print on August 10. Over 250 pieces were submitted and judged this year with finalists and winners all being honored at the Georgia print industry’s biggest night of the year.

I was glad to see so many members of the PIAG community come out to celebrate our state’s best work and each other. Throughout the evening, I shook hands with print veterans who have been in the business for decades, as well as high school and college students who will start their careers within the next few years. It’s inspiring to be with people who are passionate about their skills, talents, and the valuable service they provide.

PIAG is on its own journey to accomplishments and success. If you were at imPRESS, you heard the latest on our 5-year strategic plan we’re calling thINK Success. It’s the organization’s new roadmap for navigating today’s print industry and guiding us toward the goals we feel are most important down the road. The strategic plan ensures that PIAG continues to provide the right kind of programs and services – helping you elevate marketing and communications for your customers.

I hope you enjoy this issue of PrintQueue. It’s been our goal to take this publication to a new level. You may have noticed the magazine has been redesigned and is starting to include more local content. This effort will continue, but in the meantime, please let us know your thoughts on our flagship publication.

I appreciate your support of PIAG. As always, please feel free to contact me anytime with ideas, questions, or if you just want to talk.

Sincerely,

Jon Krueger
PIAG President & CEO
