Since 1989, PIAG Insurance has offered group health insurance plans to PIAG members through PIBT (Printing Industries Benefit Trust). The print and graphic communications industry is unique, and we're here to help find the right fit for you for your insurance needs. 

PIBT partners with two medical insurance carriers - PIBT Freedom and Kaiser Permanente - to offer PPO and HMO plans to choose from. To be eligible to participate, PIAG member companies must have 2 or more full-time employees. 

Members can offer additional voluntary benefits to their employees, including vision, dental, life, and disability insurance.

PIBT Freedom Resources

PIBT Freedom is a Preferred Provider Organization (PPO). PPOs provide the flexibility to see out-of-network providers, do not require referrals, and are generally more flexible than an HMO plan.

Kaiser Permanente Resources

Kaiser Permanente is a Health Maintenance Organization (HMO). HMOs offer coverage for in-network providers, require a primary care physician (PCP), and referrals are needed. HMOs generally offer lower premiums than PPOs.
