David Midler Takes the Helm as New PIAG Chair of the Board
The PIAG Board of Directors has appointed David Midler to serve as Chair, effective immediately. Mr. Midler has been a member of the Georgia print community for more than 35 years. He co-founded Presentech, Inc. in Atlanta in 1990 as one of the state’s first digital print companies. Mr. Midler was serving as an Officer in the Chair-Elect position and was scheduled to assume the Chair seat in January. He is stepping into the role early following the resignation of former Board Chair Keith Sullivan, whose company, Sull Graphics, was acquired on March 1.
“It’s an honor to be named the leader of an organization that I have supported my entire career,” said Mr. Midler. "There has never been a more challenging time for Georgia printers, but advancements in print technology also mean new opportunities. My goal is for PIAG to support our members with the tools and education needed to prosper in this rapidly changing business environment."
Mr. Midler has been a PIAG member for over 25 years. In addition to his service as an Officer, he has held the positions of Chair of the PIAG Educational Foundation and Chair of the PIAG Finance Committee. He also serves as a Trustee and Officer on the Printing Industries Benefit Trust (PIBT), where he represents the interests of the Georgia print industry. In August 2025, Mr. Midler was honored with the PIAG Benjamin Franklin Award.
Outside the print industry, Mr. Midler supports several important charitable causes. He has volunteered and held leadership positions with LifeLine Animal Project and Partnership Against Domestic Violence.
