Message from the President: Q3 2025
Consolidation Signals Transformation & Opportunity
The printing industry is undergoing a significant transformation marked by mergers and acquisitions, shifting customer demands, and the rapid integration of new technologies. Consolidation is reshaping the landscape here in Georgia and beyond. We’re seeing smaller shops acquired by larger players, businesses merging to expand capabilities, and companies refining their focus to remain competitive.
A major transaction earlier this year involving several local printers was another reminder that the Georgia print market continues to evolve. Back in May, Drummond announced its acquisition of Tucker Castleberry, a cornerstone in Atlanta for more than 75 years, as well as New London Communications in Alpharetta. These are several highly respected companies, each with deep roots, rich histories, and strong commitments to client success. We wish our friends and partners on all sides of this transaction nothing but the best as they move forward with new chapters in their lives and careers.
For PIAG, this moment reinforces three important truths:
- Georgia remains a strategic hub for the print industry. The Drummond-Tucker Castleberry-New London Communications combination showcases the value, talent, and potential within our state.
- Print is a maturing industry that is increasingly finding strength through alignment, scale, and shared vision.
- Change creates opportunity. Whether your company is growing through acquisition, preparing for succession, or simply refining its strategy, PIAG is here to support you.
As your association, PIAG remains committed to helping all our members navigate this changing landscape. The future of print in Georgia is dynamic and evolving, and together, we’re shaping what comes next.
Sincerely,
Jon Krueger
