imPRESS 2020

imPRESS is an event designed to bring the graphic communications community together to celebrate the outstanding work produced by Georgia companies. The COVID-19 pandemic has created uncertainty in our ability to host an event of this size on August 6. After consulting with our past attendees through a survey, your board of directors, the venue, and the caterer, we have made the decision to POSTPONE imPRESS 2020 and look for a date later in the year when conditions for this event may improve. We will communicate further information on the status of PIAG’s signature annual event as it becomes available through email and at www.piag.org.

However, both the Print Excellence Competition and the Benjamin Franklin Award programs will proceed with their respective judging & awarding processes even if imPRESS is unable to be held this year. The PIAG staff is exploring virtual options to honor award winners in this scenario.

In order to allow everyone to participate that wishes, the Print Excellence Competition entry deadline has been extended to June 12. As a reminder, every PIAG member receives one free entry with additional entries at $35/entry (or $20/single entry in multiple categories). I invite you to enter online below and have your best work that was produced between January 1 and December 31, 2019 recognized along with the best pieces of Georgia print. 

Similarly, the Benjamin Franklin Award will continue to be awarded this year honoring one individual who has made significant contribution to the graphic communications industry in the state of Georgia. You can nominate a deserving individual today through June 14.
