SkillsUSA will host its annual National Leadership & Skills Conference (NLSC) June 19-23, 2023 at the Georgia World Congress Center. The conference is a showcase of career and technical education students.
The SkillsUSA Championships will be held on Wednesday and Thursday. In 2022, nearly 5,200 outstanding career and technical education students –– all state contest winners –– competed hands-on in 108 different trade, technical and leadership career competitions. We expect even more competitors in 2023. Competitors work against the clock and each other, proving their expertise in occupations, including graphic communications, ad design, and screen printing. Contests are run with the help of industry, trade associations and labor organizations, and test competencies are set by industry. Leadership contestants will demonstrate skills including extemporaneous speaking and conducting meetings by parliamentary procedure.
