Because Georgia’s large and diverse printing and imaging industry relies on talented people, PIAG offers two quick and easy ways to view and communicate job openings.
1) PIAG's open LinkedIn group.
What's the difference between a job
and a job discussion in a group?
The group has two sections on the Jobs tab that show job opportunities. Go to the PIAG group, click Jobs, and then select Jobs or Jobs Discussions on the left. The Jobs section:
- Only shows jobs posted in the main LinkedIn Jobs section.
- Is automatically populated by a jobs feed set up by the group manager.
The Jobs Discussions section:
- Allows group members to share and discuss job opportunities and issues from sources outside LinkedIn Jobs.
- Jobs discussions are automatically removed after 14 days.
You can also click Search All Jobs to search through all postings in LinkedIn Jobs.
How do I post a job discussion in my group?
You can post a job opportunity in the PIAG group's Job Discussions section of the Jobs tab.
- Go to the PIAG group and click the Jobs tab.
- Click the Post a job discussion link at the top right or click the Job Discussions link on the left.
- Post in the discussion box at the top of the tab.
Job discussions will only appear for 14 days.
2) PIAG's Pressing News Blog.
When you submit a brief classified ad to PIAG's Pressing News, we'll post it to the blog and include it in an email update sent to all PIAG members every Monday morning.
