"Marketing 2020: The New Print Horizon"
Launches Revolutionary Year for
The Printing & Imaging Association of Georgia
SMYRNA, Ga.-- January 23, 2012 -- Last week, The Printing & Imaging Association of Georgia (PIAG) hosted more than 70 association members and guests for an annual business meeting and conference held at its offices in Smyrna, Georgia. The event, themed "Marketing 2020: the New Print Horizon," marked the beginning of a transformative year for the association with the unveiling of a new and innovative plan to increase the ROI of PIAG membership as well as the induction of the 2012 Board of Officers & Directors led by Chairman Pat McBride of Envision Printing, LLC.
"As we celebrated the beginning of a new year with many of our members last week, we also announced PIAG's 3-pronged approach to increase the value of membership for every one of our members in 2012" explains PIAG President Randolph W. Camp. "First, we are creating a stronger buying power benefits program to save each member at least the cost of his or her dues investment, making membership an easy decision. Second, we're developing programs like The Loop, an online portal connecting Georgia with quality visual media providers, to help increase the sales and profits of our members. Finally, we recognize that each of our members is faced with making the shift from "Print Service Provider" to "Marketing Service Provider," so we'll also focus on providing tools and education to help them diversify themselves while at the same time working towards diversifying the member base to ensure a strong, sustainable association for years to come."
The business meeting was especially significant for all involved with PIAG because the board of officers and directors, elected by the membership, governs the association with an all-volunteer commitment of their time and talent.
