Georgia Printer Magazine Adds Media Buyers To Its Readership
SMYRNA, GA -- May 5, 2009 -- Georgia Printer magazine, produced by The Printing & Imaging Association of Georgia (PIAG), has added over 400 media buyers to its readership. These media buyers are comprised of graphic artists, advertising executives, marketing professionals, government officials, and other Georgia business owners and executives with a stake in print. The addition was made as part of a goal to increase awareness of Georgia's rich printing and imaging industry, and to enhance the dialogue between media buyers and their print and imaging business partners.
"The first issue these new readers received in April featured a new look for the publication and an article titled 'The Face of Georgia Printing: 2009', where we spoke to a diverse group of PIAG members about their businesses and the industry as a whole" reports Ashley Lenz, PIAG Marketing and Communications Manager. "The article was supported with numbers and statistics specific to Georgia's printers and imagers to provide a clear picture of how significant this segment is to Georgia's overall business success. This introduction to our industry will be continued throughout 2009 as we focus on the people and companies who support the goals of media buyers through graphic communications."
The new readers of Georgia Printer were also introduced to "Bridging the Gap", a new editorial department that promotes best practices when designing for print and will serve to help readers achieve optimum results from their printed jobs.
