PIAG Launches New Conference & Expo for
Printers and Creatives in Spring 2009
The Printing & Imaging Association of Georgia (PIAG) is bringing the southeast printing and creative industry an event with strong measurable value propositions for exhibitors, partners and attendees.
SMYRNA, Ga. (Sep.29, 2007) — “It's all about real world, real money – not theory,” says Chris Jacobson, who has recently been named manager of PIAG's 2009 Conference & Expo. PIAG's new event will focus on helping printers and creatives understand their roles from a customer solutions perspective, with an emphasis on niche areas that are highly profitable.
Jacobson, who will also continue to produce Southern California's successful PrintFest trade show, is excited to bring his talents to the southeast. “When Rachel approached me to help them launch the new event, I could see the synergy right away,” says Jacobson. He plans on taking the most successful elements of PrintFest and incorporating those features in a way that will work best for the southeastern U.S. market.
“We have the advantage of Chris's experience and talent in running a successful trade show. Chris has a commitment and passion to help our industry succeed…this mirrors PIAG's mission perfectly,” says Rachel Ann Shattah, President and CEO of Printing & Imaging Association of Georgia. PIAG Conference & Expo Council Chairman Norvin Hagan, CEO of Geographics in Atlanta added, “We look forward to creating an event that will serve both our members and the industry in general and we are committed to bringing the southeast to a new level of education, networking and technology within the printing and imaging industry by showing them real world examples of how to increase their profits.”
A key success element of this major event is its synergy – through a combination of “show and tell” features, networking, education and an overall emphasis on profitability, this conference and expo will exceed the expectations of the many different audiences within the printing and imaging industry.
The new PIAG show is scheduled to launch in Spring of 2009. Dates and a location will be announced soon. For preliminary information about PIAG's 2009 Conference & Expo contact Show Manager Chris Jacobson at (714) 505-0605 ext.102, or call PIAG at (770) 433-3050.
