Atlanta, GA - (Feb. 6, 2008) -- The Pitman Company and Hostmann Steinberg Ink (Division of the Huber Group) have teamed up to offer a new program to benefit the Educational Foundation of PIAG. Every time a PIAG member company purchases Hostmann Steinberg ink through the Pitman Company, a donation of $.02/lb is made in their honor to the Educational Foundation. The program is effective immediately and includes all ink purchases from Nov. 2007 forward. The money is to be used by the Educational Foundation for  programs such as SkillsUSA, a partnership of students, teachers and industry working together to ensure America has a skilled work force.

Programs like Think Ink and the participation of members such as The Pitman Company and Hostmann Steinberg are what will make this endeavor successful," said David Canady,  president IMedia Group and immediate past chairman of the PIAG Educational Foundation.   

Dave Wilkins, Southeast District Manager, The Pitman Company is excited about the opportunity to support the work of the Educational Foundation. Wilkins states the "Think Ink" program allows member companies the opportunity to support the foundation through the purchase of printing inks, it is a simple way to contribute with products they already use every day in production. The quality ink products from Hostmann, and the service and support from Pitman mean they can improve quality, reduce costs, and help the Educational Foundation at the same time. We are really excited about being part of the foundation's efforts to expand and grow their programs into 2008 and beyond."
