Automating a workflow is all about performing an appropriate action on a consistent basis. It's about lowering costs, providing a faster turnaround, and making money.
There are many ways to automate a workflow, and you may have already implemented some steps that have resulted in greater efficiencies. But have you taken a recent look at what you do well and what can be improved? The first step to an improved workflow is to take a look at your present procedures and find out where the bottlenecks are. You may be surprised to find out that your productivity isn't what it should be! Those great procedures that you put into place years ago may not be working today or even worse.. your production staff may not be following them.
During this session, Frank will give you some tried and true tips to analyze your workflow and implement improvements. He'll be discussing some actions that you can take to improve your workflow using the tools you have right now. And you'll be able to develop a longer term strategy to automate your workflow to the degree that matches both your needs and your customers.
Your Will Learn:
How to calculate the degree of automation you need
How to conduct an autopsy on your present workflow
How to leverage the tools you presently have
What you need to buy to automate your workflow
How to explain the benefits of your new workflow to your customers
